Yes my profile pic is totally me and my mood. I want to see the beauty in all things, our dreams, our hopes. As a child with all the ugliness I experienced, I still wanted and tried to make people happy. Take your rose colored glasses off was people's favorite saying to me.

My profile picture is a picture I took when me and my partner went camping in the woods. I love the woods and feel very peaceful in them and I had an amazing time when we went. It's a good reminder of a peaceful time.

i think pixel describes how i sense my body: fragmented. disconnected. atomised.
so for the avatar, i depicted what my body feels like; a self portrait of what *i* think i should look like :shifty:


a few people have said pixelated is how they feel too
happy to share the name, people!

Interesting thread, thank you for starting it! I've also been curious about some profile pictures.

My profile pic is my cat, Kahni. She passed away earlier this year, but seeing her reminds me of the comfort her presence provided me during some of my darkest days.

I don't like my picture being taken now, as I look so gaunt and thin! I never used to mind before, when I was younger, and fitter.

My sister took a picture of me, when I never knew she was taking it, and I look terrible in it, yet my sister says it's a good one?

I can't get over know old I look now, and since I've grown my "goatie" beard, I look so much like my Dad, as he used to have one, for most of his life.

I found a picture of my Dad when he was younger, without his beard, before he met my mother, and he was quite a handsome bloke in his day. Some times I really wish that I had got to know him better?
