Things seem to be coming slowly out of darkness. After close to 3 weeks of my combat vet isolating, it looks like he's coming sround. This week I'd send a short text just saying that I'm here and praying. I just want him to know I'm here and I'll be here, I'm in this with him! I today sent a text and he responded with MISS YOU!!!!!!!!! Those 2 words brought me my Sunshine. I'm going to keep praying and supporting from a distance and continue getting help for me and let God control, not me. Im learning so much being here, this has been a blessing. I'm going to keep my head up and hope and love in my heart.

I love this man! I've known him for over 13 years and we met and that was it. Because he's my cousins best friend I'd get messages about him having a crush on me and I'd just ignore and go on lol. 3 years ago we went on our first date after he told me about the torch he's been carrying for years for me:) After that date it's been on and popping lol Although he's a differentan now he's still the man for me. I will walk it out with hI'm and continue to pray.

I've known my SO/ExSO for nearly a decade, just hearing her say she was hurt but felt she was missing a piece (I.e. me) it's just that thing that makes your day, it's like they're still "in there".

It sounds like you too are on a long journey and it's one you know is right for you, I'm really pleased for you that you have something to smile about and hope it's a sign of better things to come.
