I have a really hard time remembering how my week was when I go to therapy. A lot of the time I go in and the T asks, "How was your week?" and all I can say is not bad or good or I don't know or even; I think it got pretty bad for a few days but I'm not really sure what happened.
So I got T2 Mood Tracker last night and I'll see how it goes. It does straight forward mood tracking (which is what I want) with out all the bells and whistles. It helps you track ptsd, depression, brain trauma, and or anxiety symptoms. You can also input other mood/ symptom clusters you want to watch (I added a dissociation cluster) but you can't add symptoms to the existing clusters. It does allow you to make notes and you can download and send reports to your T. And it's free. :)
I've gotten a few other apps for mood/ symptom tracking that lasted about a week before I removed them. One just couldn't chart my rapid swings (only one mood a day allowed lol) and the other was more like a therapy app (PTSD Coach) and had lots of little supportive things that would be great for a PTSD newbie. PTSD Coach also has an app for supporters but we haven't tried it.
Has anyone else tried an app to track their moods and symptoms?
