Not as much as I used to, but it still creeps up on me at times, and other times, washes over me like a f'n tsunami before I know what hit me. But my recovery time keeps improving. Continually learning how to find and dig up more of the roots of my own issues, as well as finding more effective and sustainable ways to ground myself in that awareness, helps me better understand the discomfort and pain in others that often drives their behavior, just as it does my own.
 
I don't blame myself. It's not useful to blame their issues on me because I don't live with them, sleep with them, or go to the toilet with them. Now if someone started taking stuff out on me because of their lives, that's a whole different story. Depending on the situation, their day can go from bad to worse depending on my mood.
