Abuse at work.

For a disability I have *because* of abuse and torture.

We switched and they backed off fast after. No remorse.

I'm starting to be pissed off enough I'm considering taking a route across borders no matter I'm poor as f*cking dirt because just nope. It's been f*cking enough. Shithole needa be left to rot. I Just. Don't. Care.

Having to wash things I find at the thrift shop over and over and over and over to get the stank of fabric softener out of them before I can stand to wear them. I used to religiously use it, too, until I learned of a thing called endocrine disruption and how all of that shit is readily absorbed into our skin (not to mention the air, water, soil and such), and when they reformulated my favorite april fresh scent and the smell changed drastically, luckily, it all happened at about the same time. More money saved. Cha ching!!!

From now on, if I can't pronounce it or safely ingest it, it doesn't go in me or on me. lol White vinegar works wonders and the smell leaves as soon as the items dry, unless they've been marinated in that synthetic stank, of course, then it takes what feels like forever. Grrrrrrr..........the things we've been made to believe are necessary for "proper" hygiene and such are taking us out slowly but surely.

@Tornadic Thoughts Booze. Alcohol breaks down the bonds / denatures the oils that scents use to cling. Granted, smelling like gin or vodka may be worse? Although it does wash out easier by far! Would depend on your own preferences. Bleach, clearly, is another option. But that might also mean redying. <chuckling> & people wonder at my tendency to wear nada but black and charcoal. Both bleach. Both dye. But booze is easier by far.

Sorry for the language but it really tricks me off!!!

My God is a loving God and people are not punished for their sins but, are punished by their sins and even then, are saved from them by Jesus Christ not by copying and pasting chain mail letters. Grrrrr!!!!:banghead:

Thank you, @Friday! Will stock up on some cheap booze. Anxious to see if the smell fades along with the vinegar. lol I might be able to wear those pants before the end of the week after all.

Yay! Someone else who knows about the endocrine disruption and using vinegar instead. I feel slightly less abnormal. Fabric softener make your towels less absorbent. Fabric softeners are also very bad for your dryer as they clog up the are vents making them a fire hazard.

Working people who think they are better than people on disability on the sole reason that they have work. So having a job defines who you are as a person huh? Because, I don't think I can respect that. I respect compassion, not arrogance.

Yeah, these are working disabled people who have damned good social support & families to take care of them at the end of the day, dictating how I should process information.

Because oh, this works for them, and how dare I do things any differently. & How I'm stupid and useless and f*ck all good when I don't think of space exactly the same way as they do. :cautious::banghead:
