When I was stationed at Shepherd AFB, there were some Iraqian student pilots learning to fly military craft. This was when Iran was the enemy and Iraq was considered friendly. Anyway these idioits rented a van and go for a joy ride in the Texas Panhandle. The driver put the van on cruise control and got up to go in the back of the van and get something to drink. He thought the car had autopilot needless to say the Iraqies got a close up look at Texas Longhorns, cactus. Never knew a van could roll that many times. Of course we had to use medical humor as I chased the bull away and the other two rescued one of the passengers. The crazy things foreigners do. I'm not sure but I think one of the guys was in Kuwait during Desert Storm. That day in Kuwait I thought I should have let the coyotes get you. Bad thought for a medic.

lol we both know there were all kinda thoughts we had... I remember the Marine who ate the hamburger patty out of his MRE's without rehydrating it first... really??? a medevac for THAT???? and yayayaya we were concerned but we laughed our butts off later.. hmmm maybe I needa start a thread on our favorite MRE pouch.. I used to loooove the chicken a la king...

I remember the pork patty being so bad even starving dogs wouldn't eat. One mangy mutt even peed on it. I think the c-rations were better. Which isn't saying much.

Yes man...this is a Canadian air defense system....good stuff....if we built the same sling shot here in the United States it would cost about ten million dollars!!!!
