Here all that Counts is the fact your a Vet who has seen combat and has PTSD. Simple as.

So you should be. I know a lot of People who wouldn`t even sign up to serve their Country, be it blighty or out here in Germany

But then the leftwingers out here who come into my shop have now learnt no to Insult the Military or god off about them in a negative way when I am around :D

Youll find most of us on here do, and given the chance would go back.

I`d need someone to carry my gat and my webbing these days but go I would.

Took me far to Long to realise what I was missing after I left. So I was to old and the Brits wouldn`t take me back, so I actualy went for the German army and was told because of my Age I would only be able to serve 4 years.

So I actually told this Cpt (probably not politly) that after 10 years Service for Queen and Country I could teach them a thing or two and would be a seriously good asset to have on board untill I could retire.

He didn`t take it to well and asked me to leave..............

So carrying on looking for that "Military" life and combat, I started seriously thinking of going to the sand pit. But the only people out there who would have taken me were the Ragheads, which probably wouldn`t have been great move.

So looking back, yeah I miss the army.. crap bits and all just like most.

Something that can be as exhilarating as the stuff we got/get up to on tour, is never going to be something easy to give up, even if it is ridiculously hideous on occasions!

Had a sh*t dream, now wide awake. Thought I just had my 'Down' phase and was on the up for a little bit.

Even though my dreams are in essence, bizarre. It only takes a bit of combat influence for them to feel real.

I used to love sleep...

I started to write out a list and got too spun up so I'll just sum it up for now as living in DC (the Devil's City as I prefer to call it) is enough to piss me off every day.

It was brand new when I was there in the mid 90's. Now I guess it is something less. I've gotten to watch the show a couple times over here. Makes me cringe. Using the local slang and everything.

"Five Oh Yo!" You had to be part criminal yourself to survive that city. Not sure how it is now, but we had 2 murders a day at least. Always topping the lists for some crime statistics. Made DC look good at times.
