You know I always say that I like the change of seasons here in the north east. Until they do. It's been a colder and snowy winter here so far. I do have a snow thrower, not quite as cool as the one in the vid but it's so much easier than shoveling. I don't think I could take the constant heat and humidity of the south.

Oh yeah Jar. there is no way I will be here for the summer. This was a temp move to be with a lady. We plan to move to Portland or maybe Wash. State by April. There is no way in hell I will be here for the summer. I have done it before and it SUCKS!

Hey red, if you are thinking Seattle (King County) the taxes will eat you alive! lol The wife was born in Seattle, I move there in late 72. We moved to NM 4 years ago this coming June. Portland??? Maybe OK.....One of the nicer places in OR is Roseburg, OR. We almost moved there, but the tax in NM is low and the wife has RA, so the heat is good for her. At a 100% I get 2 free license plates and I pay no land/home tax....Not sure what you are looking for, so it's just my 2 cents....I do know that with the wife and I both at 100% disabled we could not aford to live in Seattle.....

Girlfriend has lived there in both states before. I am on Disability. I plan to go to college and get either a degree or at least a certificate in IT. dont care if all earn is 30k its better than disability.

I have been on the disability for about 2 years now. I cant stand it. I am to young for it. I hate the amount and how it helps but not enough to be able to do anything but exist in the most crappy way.

We are all different. I cant imagine being some of you guys or gals... the PTSD seems to have a very hard grip on you. I thought it was the same for me. But the past 6 months or so I have had a lot of changes. I don't think there is a cure, lets get that straight. But I have much better control over the PTSD than ever before. I have learned to reduce the stress. To cope better. To remove stressors that were crippling me before.
I hope that I can stay medication free.
And I have decided to try to cope with some of the memories and experiences. I will try to shove the rest back into the hole they were in and I hope I can Get on with living life. I don't doubt PTSD will still be there but I think I can greatly reduce Everything dramatically.

I am not trying to upset anyone or say its what they should be doing. I am doing this for me. And me alone.

I WANT ONE!!!!! Then I wouldn't have to have my neighbor come plow cause my four wheeler is broken and I cant afford the piece to fix it. I guess that means I couldn't afford one of those either, but how cool!!!

I went there twice. We were on hwy 1 right on the beach for a field op. There was a dead seal which was gross but we did get to go running on the beach next to the ocean for pt and that was pretty awesome. The next time I went to Oregon was with the Seattle knights for a renaissance fair.
