For All You Pc Gamers Out There

I mentioned this a few times I think. Can't remember.

On EA's Origin games and Steam games, my handle is I3ullet_Sponge (that is capital i and a 3). My son chose Son_Of_i3ullet. We are always looking for folks to join us in game. We employ his world ranked FPS skills and my knowledge of military tactics and kick the living shit out of all comers.

We are running Titanfall right now, which you can get on Origin for 20 bucks which includes all the DLCs for free. Look us up and join in the fun. Nothing generates laughter like splattering 14 year olds all over the map. Plus there is built in voice chat, so coms are good for tactical purposes.

We are both looking forward to the New Star Wars Battlefront due out around X-mas and it would be awesome to have a pool of veterans join us.

My son excels at sniping, I play mostly as a heavy support gunner ( LMG and similar high capacity weapons)and "bait". We would really enjoy having a few other bodies working with us in squad based sweep and clear operations.
We both prefer take and hold type gameplay (Hardpoint, Domination, capture the flag) rather than the cheesy free for all style play.

Plus, bi-pedal robot tanks...

Pilots, prepare for Titanfall.

LMAO... Not it! I'm console ... But man oh man oh man... Was I deep in serious negotiations with my son yesterday when Steam's Summer Sale hit! Silly me, I thought the remainder of my paycheck was mine. ((No way in hell am I passing up 70/80/90% off! Esp. Not with the Machine due out in Nov. Ahem. Not that I let him know that! ;) ))

My steam is sp00kzilla display name is Mr. Black. Don't own Titan fall unfortunately. I play a lot of Chivalry Mid-evil warfare. And old school doom 2 with the Brutal mod lol. There's a game coming out called SQUAD. Gunna be pretty much my next decade of gaming so I donated to the kickstarter etc... its some "realistic" as intense as it gets on FPS squad based combat to be honest lol. These guys go all out.

YEAH. That looks like a good one. Oddly enough, I find the sound of gunfire comforting, but thunderstorms geek me a bit.(Never used to....one to many hurricanes and tropical storms I guess...)


Gotta run for now, just spent 9 hours troubleshooting the boy's new PC....had the BIOS POST rapid beep of death....turns out it was a stick of bad RAM.
Good news is newegg.customer service is awesome, and I had spare DDR3 on hand.

Before you go spending big on RAM, try cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol, or something like that first. Also try swapping the sticks around just in case you had it seated bad. Also try this http://hcidesign.com/memtest/

I sent four sticks back for warranty and had to pay postage there and back again as nothing was wrong. Now I am more thorough.

Yup, tried all that. Still failed. Shorted out internally, was causing the rapid beeps of death on POST. RMAed through Newegg. Good thing I had spare DDR3 laying around.

If IU goes through I might get a badass gaming computer through "ibuypower.com" but it'll be a laptop. I play mostly older games or games like "diablo 3" or "Star Wars tor" on my current laptop. If we get a desktop it'll be for the kids but I'll have so much fun building it up.

@FAG...Look on craigslist & free cycle near larger bases. I got an (8k? 6k? Kinda forget, effig expensive) Alienware laptop (before Dell bought them!) for under $100 from a pissed off girlfriend. <grin> It was my brother's Xmas & birthday gift from me for several years running. Got another Alienware laptop for around $500 that my ex totally stole. Ditto on other tech, music, tools, toys... Pennies on the dollar. It's bad karma, for sure, but whatever. I'm already going to hell. Pissed off soon-to-be-ex-wives & girlfriends have saved me I don't even know how much money over the years.

If you're bored, make it a nationwide search. I'll totally spend $300 on airfare to save $1,000-10,000

@All y'all on Steam... Anyone know with the Machine coming out in Nov if that's gonna link into all the PC players on Steam or will have its own gamers pool? I know I could look it up. But every time I start to my eyes start glazing & nothing sinks in.

@Friday, something about getting what I want from the source is to awesome to pass up, although I might try that for my kids computer. It will end up being my personal project but what kid would complain about an Alienware desktop?

Why is I can write thousands of lines of code but lose interest in a game in about 10 minutes?
