We all love our furry (and sometimes not so furry) friends! Sometimes, our animals can even benefit us in a therapeutic way. What are your animals, and what are their names? :woot::p

My rescue dog, named Chica.... who has been renamed Hero dog in my diary... she is a mix, the terrier part of her rules.... I am a cat person, always have been... but rescued her, had my cat Diva at the time... She was 24 yrs old when I had to put her down... so Hero dog has helped me heal... not only with the loss of my beloved cat companion, but with life.... this is a great thread.... can't wait to hear about others furbabies..

We do love our furbabies... some here have service dogs too... and eventually, I will have a cat or cats again... looking forward to that !!!

Give Mama Kitty hugs from Ladee , enjoy her.... I certainly did my girl and had her for a very long time.... still miss her.

Ok, you asked. I have a retired service dog, a mastiff named Nugget and I have her sister named Bella. I have 2 boy cats, Nelson and Peeper. I have 17 hens and 5 chicks named Doris, Sissy, Spot, Doctor Goodfeels, Dot, Chops, Boofalant, Alfalfa, Girafarig, Shirley, Prudence, Goldy, Zelda, Magnolia, Bridget, Pip, and Popodo. The chicks are Floof, since she's so fluffy, Tiny Baby, Amelia since she has wings that look like airplane wings, and the other two haven't let their names be known yet. We also have possible 19 eggs hatching in the next 3 days. I doubt all 19 will hatch, but I can hear 4 of the eggs peeping so far.

I've got five rescue cats. Furbis is 12, Calliah is 10, Isobel and Bayleigh are 8, and Tabibito is 5.

There is also the cat who lives in the martial arts school. His name is Mojave, and he is 9.

I love all six of them with all my heart. They are the outlets for all my maternal instincts. They calm me and comfort me, and they make me smile. I wouldn't trade them for the world.
