What is ritual abuse and examples?

Abuse done for ritualistic purposes. My example is a cult that I grew up in. I could dive deeper or just post my diary as its rather long and indepth. Set actual rituals in my case.

In that case, it's not always about cults. Ritual elements involved in the way you were abused, in any setting, can make abused Ritual Abuse.

The label is scary, but it's just a way of describing abuse that has a common theme. Often the real issue is that the ritual elements can often lead to programming, which is just a fancy way of saying that you were taught to behave in particular ways while the abuse occurred, or that you were encouraged to belied particular things, such as "This abuse is bringing me closer to God". Treatment actually follows much the same process as any chronic abuse, it's just that the beliefs you may have been programmed with as part of the abuse may take a little more work to unravel.
