Feel like i should quit before i get fired...again

AAAAAANNNNDDD, I was right...got pulled into a meeting with the guy who runs the office here, there have been complaints from coworkers that I'm not working enough. The number's pulled substantiate that claim. My immediate supervisor understands how hard I work to accomplish what I actually do, and she appreciates all the work I do that no one else sees, but it cuts no mustard with the "number's only" boss. I have until the end of this month to make "progress" or my "role with the company will be re-evaluated". After all I've been through, the sacrifices I've made to move out here, and the huge progress I've made just to be able to keep this job this long, to hear that my best isn't good enough is a serious trigger. I had to take the afternoon off to deal with the intense depression and near-suicidality that set off. Thankfully I have my coping mechanisms and good support locally, as well as back home, so I'll be ok, but MAN this sucks!!

Wondering if I should get HR involved? I'm signed up with the state Disability Vocational Rehab office too....sigh. This sucks. I thought I was doing so well for a change...

You know and we know you're doing hard work. No path is a straight walk, unfortunately... but I'm glad you have support.
