Okay, good now
Such a day, and the speaker I bought for medical reasons (help me not space out so I can cook food without getting major burns, etc) won’t pair with my music device
Called Apple and they’re doing their best, they forwarded me to someone important in the upper levels of staff to deal with it so I have some executive’s number in my email now
Currently playing the songs on a laptop. Not an Apple one. It’s from 2011, quality of sound is not the best (and not as good as it was). But it works, so that’s all I need anyway
I read triggering things today and found them interesting. I mentioned in casual conversation today that my dad is insane and made the guy laugh.
Also got through being annoyed in a way that made my boss think I was enjoying myself (i was though after a moment). It was just frustrating. I have nothing else to do, got through several orders and this week has been full of hundreds of those. Look up, see someone who gets paid 40$ an hour streaming movies off Netflix and browsing Facebook at the same time.
Pull out my book and start to study. I was scared of my boss seeing me, recognized it was because of fear from my dad and sister telling me I’m not allowed to take breaks, then she comes around and says I need to be doing things. Assigns me liked five projects instantly, brings them to my desk, plops them down (playfully) instead of letting me adult myself to them, then after telling me that I could do it after I got go a stopping point, points at the clock like I’m your average middle schooler and tells me to be done at 2. It was 2:05.
She wasn’t being mean, I’m just really grumpy because I get paid 8.5$ an hour and kind of seriously need the funds, have had to take off lately, and come in to the beautiful site of my coworker giving no shits at work and not even working. So really I’m mad at that person for getting paid more than me to do literally nothing all day
She’s pretty cool though and usually I don’t care so I probs just need to fix my headache from all the focus I desperately put into that webinar earlier. I’m never doing that again
