4 Love is patient and is kind; love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag, is not proud, 5 doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; 6 doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. 8 Love never fails." 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

ACTS 17:28 'For in him we live, and move, and have our being.' ... 'For we are also his offspring.' ... 30 The times of ignorance therefore God overlooked. But now he commands that all people everywhere should repent, 31 because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he has ordained; of which he has given assurance to all men, in that he has raised him from the dead."
ACTS 17:28, 30 & 31

Sometimes a member or some members of various faiths do unspeakable things, things which they know they are not supposed to be doing. The rest of us get a bad name, because of this. I feel very saddened by these things when they happen, because they can turn good people away from God. I just pray that does not happen. I don't know what else to say.... except that I am really sorry that these things happen. I feel for the families involved and I think we all should pray for them, as well as the ones who perpetrated these awful crimes.

Psalm 28:6-7
Blessed be Yahweh,
because he has heard the voice of my petitions.
7Yahweh is my strength and my shield.
My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped.
Therefore my heart greatly rejoices.
With my song I will thank him.

There was an extensive study called simply DISCIPLE that I did a couple of years ago. Our pastor led it and we had to do a lot of reading, but it was worth it. It showed how all the things from the OT led up to the NT and foretold it. And oh so much more. It takes about a year, under the direction of someone who is very well versed in the Bible to really get it all. Our pastor was studying for her Doctorate at the time, so it was a really cool experience.

I just finished reading EVERYBODY ALWAYS by Bob Goff. It is a very inspirational book, makes you want to go out there and help people, love on people and just raise folks moods. He tells a lot of stories about his adventures and he has many to tell about, International ones too! Don't miss this book, I recommend it highly.

I also am doing a Bible Study by N. T. Wright on the Book of JAMES. I'm only on week 3, and there are 9 weeks of study in this, but I really am enjoying it too.

I caught one of my faith-based programs today and the ladies were discussing fear. They referenced many bible verses and I thought I'd share the one I most related to with you: Psalm 91. VB
