Colorful and hopefully optimistic but maybe hateful occasionally

and supported broken hearted cows once or twice
You're such a gem❤
(always buy pasteurized)
Hear hear.
Brushing curls is not a good idea.
Ohhh yeah. I only ever brush mine right before a shower to get the knots out.
I got dramatic, haha
It's your diary; go for gold
The only thing is that I’ll be eating alligator tomorrow. I hear that tastes like snake.
Hope it's not too bad. I had alligator once a lot time ago; I don't remember what it tasted like though. Probably chicken.
Have you eaten snake? I've had eel. Which was very strong. And most recently tried ostrich. Which was peculiar yet delicious.

No, you ?

But seriously, cows remember things for generations, if you don’t comfort one in pain or emotional distress then you’ll have a distrustful herd!

Unless you separeate them and make them depressed — which only factories will have the guts to try out, thankfully

Chicken, I bet!

My little bro tried frog legs at this one restraunt in Atlanta I think? He said it tasted surprisingly fishy!

I have not eaten snake! But my sister’s husband has (a recipe that’s survived the arrival of Europeans!!) and he claims it tastes like alligator. And turtle? One day maybe I’ll know?

I was offered octopi but didn’t want to support the market for those smart guys! Same with whale in Iceland, also puffin. I will never know how those taste! I bet eel is weird! I’ve patted an eel on the head so I’d have to not see the face before eating...? Lol. I’ve had venison but most people around here have had it, maybe? That’s been challenging to figure out since the population grew suddenly and people chose f*cking Kroger over the fresh meat place. Lol

Ostrich sounds like it’d be pretty weird! One dude here sold emu for a while, but I think people only wanted the eggs!

Interesting.
Cows have intelligence showing in their eyes, I think. Like understanding, and feeling, and awareness. I think it's silly when humans think we are the only species that does those things.

Interesting! I have a general dislike of things that taste fishy but aren't fish (though fresh fish shouldn't taste fishy, but y'know), so I'll have to remember to give frog legs a miss!

Fair enough! There are somethings I will never eat, either. Whale being one.

Haha! There's one in a big pond at my university. My friend and I have named him Bitey. If you hover a foot above the pond he comes to the surface to say hi.

I love venison! I had buffalo once in Scotland. It was sort of like a cross between beef and venison.

I had to do a google search for what Kroger was :D boo, people.

Yeah! It was the texture of pulled pork, but in the form of a medium rare steak.

@Sietz has a great book you’d like!

!!!!!!!! ??

There’s no eel emoji :0

Oh! I have a Scottish friend who has said similar! Pretty sure she was born in the US, though :P

lol, it’s much better food than Walmart! And better service. But you can’t beat fresh meat! Kroger also had better ethics than the meat place, though, to be fair... as in, not hiring people under the age of 16, and stuff like that.

Publix storebrand cheesecake is the best! Right under Captain D’s cheesecake, which is weird but true

So, it’s the jackfruit of the birds?? Hahahaha

Oof, that burger tasted good but now I feel like I drank milk? Guessing the nutritionist will be interested in that development

I had ravioli instead of oatmeal for breakfast/lunch today, and felt sick after that too. Maybe it was too heavy after my body got used to simpler stuff

Feels a bit like when I came back from Belize! Got used to eating simple foods that were always made fresh (except milk, which is powdered in Belize). When I got back to the states, my mom immediately got me pizza to celebrate. I got sooooo sick lol

I think tomorrow’s a good day to talk about trauma
And we'll be here tomorrow, too.
Here for the fun times, and the hard times.

And yeah; I think often about what it'd be like to meet y'all.
You're all welcome to visit NZ anytime; a country can never do with enough good people.
We have far fewer hobbits and elves here than publicised :D but we do have Hobbiton! And bellbirds! ;)
