This is exactly something I would do. :( I don't know - fear of judgement, or really - fear of 'getting in trouble'I remember her being afraid to get help from the state or the school for my dad's insane behavior because she was worried they would think she was a bad mother for enabling him. That sounds really similar to what you were talking about. Fear of judgement, maybe?
I decorated my first car too! I strung potpourri flowers like a popcorn string, and hung it from the rear view mirror. Smelled so pretty!!It's decorated with frogs and a faux plant right now
