Relationship Husband in isolation and denial

I am hoping for some insight on how to deal with my husband. He is an Army Veteran and was stationed in Iraq for a year. He has been diagnosed with PTSD, bipolar 1 & 2, and a mood disorder. He drinks quite a lot as well. Recently we've been arguing more and he is pointing out all the things that he thinks are wrong with me. Last Sunday the 9th, he packed some bags and left. He is living at work in basically a small closet. He sometimes will talk to me, and sometimes he won't. Sometimes he tells me he loves me, then other times he tells me he doesn't want to be with me anymore. He informed me on Friday, his little room he is staying in reminds him of living in Iraq. He is washing his clothes in a bucket, although I've offered to help him. He tells me he needs space, but then sometimes wants to hang out. He got triggered when I showed up there Monday night trying to bring him some clean socks, told me to stop stalking him and leave. I've tried telling him several times he needs to seek some help, and he flat out refuses. Then he texts me saying he's not ok, or not doing good. I don't know how to help him, or what to even do. I don't understand why he is pushing me away, when I'm trying to help him. I love him very much, and I want to help him get the help he needs. Does anyone have any insight on what I should do, or how I deal with my husband?

Hi @kmarks. Welcome to the boards. I am not sure if I can help. Do you know some f his military brothers or maybe otherfriends of his? Family members? Does he have the phone number of military help lines? Which country are you in?

In the UK He can dial 0800 1381619. In Germany 0800 5887957. In the US there is a Veto Vet assistance 888.777.4443 for vet to vetassistance.

I think combatstress.org.uk offers help or helpforheroes.org.uk offers help in the UK.

This time of year sucks for many veterans.

He is ignoring any family and myself. He is in the United States. He has been in therapy before and knows people he can reach out to and chooses not to. I don't want anything bad to happen to my husband. I love him very much and I'm so worried.

I understand this. I, too, would be very worried. I am sorry. I am not sure what you can do. I hope somebody has an idea.
You say that he had friends but does not reach out to them... what would be his reaction if one of his military brothers reaches out to him? Do you think it would trigger him more or would it help?
