He's really hurting. Sleeping alot. He stayed home today because it's just too hard right now. He's feeling down about himself and the things he's had to do in combat. His thoughts are all over the place. Still has pain and nausea. He sees pdoc on Thursday. The good thing is that he knows this will pass. Thanks for checking on us!! XO

So glad he knows this. He's right, it will. I know this from my experiences too.

Hope pdoc appointment goes well, and he starts feeling better soon as well.

IKR!! I'm thrilled he's sleeping alot. He's slept more this past week then he has this whole month. His stress cup is spilling all over the place.

Glad to hear he's been sleeping. That's got to be one of the only things that can help right now.

I realize I’m incredibly spoiled when it comes to my pdoc, but does he have a pdoc who will handle urgent issues like this over the phone and not make him wait until the next appointment? If someone is in pain, a five minute phone call for a quick med change could make a world of difference VS suffering night/day.

His new doc is great and wouldn't have any problem helping J right now. They spoke on Monday and J decided to wait until his appointment. He's been through this before but I haven't. ? @Freida, he still has nightmares when he's napping during the day. The prazosin is helping at night.

Update: He's doing so much better! His meds are helping now. He started the IOP program this week and it is 3 days a week for this whole month. He starts CWP program on the 31st. He's sleeping better, his thought pattern is better and he's feeling better. He has a new team of doctors and the VA has more classes and information on PTSD than they did 5 years ago. I've met his new doc's and I probably wasn't the friendliest to them but they understood my frustration. Now let's hope his ssdi and pension go through. He's trying very hard to understand everything. Bless his heart. XO
