@Parthenogenesis, is there a sense of urgency inside of yourself that states that you must position yourself asap? Is it possible to sit back a bit and get into supportive self care routines? Are you supporting yourself using exercise routines? Do you have enough time to prepare healthy meals?

Without these things in place a slide into chaos can happen when taking on such a huge responsibility. Is it possible to slow down this work process?

I can't risk blowing myself out again. I still have healing to do and I need to direct my own energy around work.
It is really baby steps for me. I don't know how to do the balance thing yet. I crashed and slept today - most of the day. It is a real challenge for me.

I've been married to my job for awhile now. I started in corporate and after 8 years, I was just done. Then I started a small business, and at first it was to the point I had so much energy, a snickers bar and a coke would last all day. I wasn't diagnosed until 3 years ago and had PTSD all my life. Well now.. Thirty something years later, I have to watch my diet, have to watch my exercise because what I do is physical. It's a full time job. I can't work as much as I did because I'm older and the drugs I take make me foggy sometimes ( which I really don't like) it's a matter of doing rather than thinking.

To the O.P., I think tutoring would be ?. There is good money in that, isn't there?

***shakes her fist at adolecent drama students the universe over, and puts batches of adolescent drama students in a cannon and fires them in to the sun***

If that's not a persuasive argument for self employment I don't know what is!

Do you think you perhaps overdid it with getting four jobs pretty quickly?
They were all casual jobs, one of was semi regular on Fridays, the other ones were some casual days at different high schools.

One week I did teach three days in one school. One day in another school and half a day at another educational facility. That was too much.

Two and a half days per week would be okay. (As long as they are not drama students!)

The one afternoon job was way too much preparation which was unpaid. Not really worth it.

This week I did one day outdoor science - bush walking then two days off, then one day teaching three classes of drama and one class of English, and then tomorrow one afternoon doing outdoor Science. That's okay.

Nah, just kids being kids. :)
Annoying is part of their job that age.
If they not annoying lil mongrels, there an actual trouble.

Everything else? Just them being normal. Healthy. No concern. Tiring maybe... but no reason for concern.

I crashed and slept today

That is fairly healthy thing to do.
Also normal.
Not a backslide or anything.

Edited: And if you are teaching drama classes, joys :D Theatre is just... so many things to work with, practically the way to f*ck it up would be to do *nothing*, if they are any amount of creative with the tasks that is exactly what you WANT them be doing. :sneaky:

Yeah, yeah, yeah @Ronin!

Mostly they are awesome, just some of them are real pains, and some are both simultaneously. And it is hard because it was too hot for them to be outside, so space was a bit crowded. And some just keep bouncing no matter what you do, so there is not point in really getting stressed about it. But it did get annoying.

All the world's a stage! It could be a stage with an executioner's block?

I was in a totally new school, with a totally new time table, with totally new kids, with totally new technology, which has over 2500 students and even they don't know their way around everywhere, with totally new staff, with a totally new playground duty, which 6 people gave me 6 different interpretations of where that was actually. It was all totally new.
