Swimming today...already 100 degrees. I'll stay for about another hour...get some color on my skin.

Would love to experience taking a dip and soaking up some rays in a non-public pool, too, @MrMoonlight . So happy you have the chance to do so. I can't handle the thought of the shared pool scene, even before the covid stuff came to town. What a cool capture of the water and all the shapes/reflections.

The deer in our area are of the white-tailed variety, @Teasel .

White-tailed Deer | Mountain Lake Biological Station, U.Va.

"The white-tailed deer is the only member of the North American deer family present in our area. They are also the smallest deer on the continent. Their closest relatives include Mule Deer, Moose, Elk, and Caribou. The White-tailed Deer is present through Central America, as far south as Bolivia. They occur in most of the continental US and southern Canada. They are absent only from several states in the southwest, where they share territory with Mule Deer."

The camera I use, @whiteraven , is a Canon Power Shot Pro Series S5 IS 8.0 Megapixel. Bought it years ago when we frequented music festivals. I always use the automatic setting option and still haven't figured out all the bells and whistles. Once in a while I'll use the record feature to capture the sight and sound of the mountain stream. I tend to take A LOT of shots, then just pick out the least crappy ones. lol

That cute ice pop lovin' kitty isn't mine, @whiteraven . It's @TruthSeeker 's photo/kitty.

What a sweet little robin. ?

I got a shot of a love dove chillin' and a bluebird behind him munching on his latest catch:

The tiger lilies that remind me of mom. The entire hillside next to her home place is covered in them:

The firs ripe-ish black raspberry of the season. Morning walks are about to be much sweeter, albeit quite prickly:
