Thanks KP and hugs back to you. Boy! Was I ever triggered confronting a violent man! Now, my girl friend laugh and make terrible jokes about him but this is one example of facing your fears.

Dropped in at the retreat yesterday. The perpetrator is banned. However, the facilitators were extremely cold to me and wouldn't even look at me. It could be someone told them about the thread I posted here on the forum. I know that the perpetrator was a good friend of the facilitator but that doesn't say much for the facilitator and he might be angry at me because his buddy wasn't there. Who knows? Who cares? I saw some great long time friends and was really glad I stopped in to bring every body eggs from my farm. They live in the city and love to get farm fresh eggs. In the summer, I usually invite everyone to visit the farm because I live five minutes from the retreat. What a hoot!

I look back at this last year and I am amazed. I was joking with people that I didn't have to go the retreat because I'm cured. LOL!!

The only reason that I didn't stay is that I am leaving on vacation and needed to pack.

Thanks so much! I can't stress enough how much connecting to others with PTSD on this forum has changed my life. I now recognise my symptoms and can cope with them so much better.
