As I recall you missed all the holidays last year and "woke up" after the new year. You're ahead of the game!!

We have an annual party to go to and not sure what to be. Always wanted to be Bonnie and Clyde.

Anyone have any original ideas?

Cha. Last year PARTICULARLY bit me.

( (I was trying to find fangs in the emoticon library, & nope, so I tried claws, thinking cat/wolf/gator/bitey slashing anything and? LMFAO … a lobstah… is it’s first suggestion?!? OK. Done. Just because. Also, because there is a hilarious Dave Barry article about a bloke who tried to steal lobsters by shoving them down his pants, without the rubber bands… and... Hilarity did not ensue. Which meant it was absofreakinglutely hilarious. I believe that article may have also had some opinions on the ill advised nature of making love to vacuum cleaners, and the trials of being an ER doc.))

Back on target! Last year. Sucked. (No vacuum cleaners were injured/involved).

Figured I just needed a couple weeks off work to deal with my back… and NOPE! Called out sick on Halloween, and have -pretty much- been on bedrest since then. Since my worst anniversaries are in November? With no way to blow off stress? I was a particularly charming, lovely, and delightful person. For the duration. That was a bad blow. Basically managed to finally pull my head out of my ass sometime after New Years. (Sadly, that did not unf*ck my back.) I owe my family an all expenses paid cruise for dealing with me.

Anyone have any original ideas?

So I was looking up male/female crime gods trying to find a “better” pairing than the suicide-by-cop teenagers Bonnie & Clyde (that’s still a wicked fun costume pair)…

…when I found what ***I*** am going to be for Halloween (and am currently in negotiations with my fam to join me : Money Heist; Dali masks & red jumpsuits. OMFG. Even me in a fat suit can justify that one. And I’m 99% positive my sis has a red & black boa she can rock)…

… but I’ve also sorta/kinda stumbled onto a crime duo you might like??? Maaaaaaybe?

Alice & Hatter, I would beLovingLy bequeath. As it’s not “mine” to bequeath.

As would WarDog & Handler, if your beau could stand the uniform (I couldn’t) on either of you, and ears/tail on the other.

I'd want to be Sherlock. lol He's one of my all time favorite characters. Besides, I'm a five foot, fifty something year OLD LADY. Not sure I could pull of the dominatrix. Aaalllthough??? J probably wouldn't mind me trying. Hmm?

He probably thinks he would love to wear a uniform again. I, on the other hand, know it would cause him Stress. I'm guessing it would be a trigger? But, damn he would look sexy!

We're going to the Halloween store tomorrow and I'll let you know what we come up with.

I used my pharmacy discount points on Halloween candy for trick-or-treaters, and now the Reece's Cups are calling me. I also did some decorating, dug out a leopard costume from a few Halloweens ago, and watched some Halloweeny television. It has me feeling much more festive.

LMAO… Back when we used to have a lot of trick’o’treaters… we used to have to have a house-candy-stash. Or? There’d be nothing left FOR the trick’o’treaters.

Buying candy you hate? Just feels so wrong.

Have the treats ready; decorations have been up for weeks. I have an injury preventing me from doing a lot so I’m watching scary movies on Netflix and getting triggered AF by them lol.

Daughter decorated her room and her costume is ready. I’m doing my same costume as I do every year . At school we’re having a school-wide Halloween party and my homeroom is hosting a dance area—we took a field trip to the dollar store a couple weeks ago to get decorations. All set. We don’t get trick or treaters at my complex sadly.
