My committed husband has been busy at it again and has now presented us with a cleaner looking forum - especially the home page.

There was even deliberation of even which world map to use in the word 'Forum' - us little Aussies are on the far left if you are looking for us due the the majority of members being USA & UK... and you thought we hadn't noticed ;)

Anyway, what are your thoughts? I dare not say another word today as I think Anthony is over it but looking good so far I say.

It was a nice surprise when I logged on this morning. For me personally, easier to read and find things. And I love the world map. Just found us Aussies!!!

It looked good and clean from when I first logged on and discovered the changes. And, as I browse(d), it looks even cleaner. Very, very clean....a bit to clean, (lol) - no really just kidding. It looks Great!

At first, I wasn't able to read text font (though it might be the same as it always was); This is not lasting, my eyes are adjusting better (and frankly may have nothing to do with text font).

I can see the need for the black thick margin in the upper right corner, as well as, there thinner up above the blue; This especially helps all around viewability! And, the words: PTSD Forum, Healing Local, Reaching Global, I just happen to really dig. It seems the last number of times I've read the title (before this) my mind was playing tricks with me and I was thinking: What's with .... Supporting Trauma.

Again, tricky, twisty mind some days, and please forgive me, as there I was continuing to think, it reads as if: We support or encourage trauma. (then thinking) There is something clearer, better then that. Well you guys found it, IMO. I really like it!

There is this one thing that bugs my eyes though, because it draws my eyes over to it, almost compulsively. I don't know how these designs even work and if it easily can be adjusted for what I believe would be a simple improvement, (or if its just me,) but it is the white search text window. It stretches out overlapping onto the black margin and I believe that it would be friendlier to the eyes, or just look better if it were moved left to entirely fit onto the blue with a tiny blue margin on it's right side, or perhaps shortened. I don't know what do you think? ......now be nice to me here please (lol), ............because I so hate to even mention it.

Anyhow, Well done, and the forum looks improved, clean and great!

 Oh, please nevermind what I said about the search window overlapping the black margin. Forget it. It's me. I'm the problem. :roflmao: I'm sorry guys. My screen's text is so enlarged that it only appears this way. Nothing could be fixed, .........everything looks great.

(lowering my head in embarassment). :roflmao:

In fact there isn't even a thick black margin on the rights side, unless text is enlarged enough to reveal it. What do I know.

Very good point Hope!

OMG Rain, I did the same thing, only I thought I had logged into the wrong site. Perhaps this should be added to the "You know you have PTSD when..."
I wanted to do this myself, because I was a) confused and disoriented and b) jarred by the change as I realized it was the forum. CHANGE! Run for your lives! The world is no longer safe!

I got over it pretty quickly. :D Forum looks great. Thanks to everyone who has worked to make this place so wonderful.
