My alternating weight routines, I try to do 15 reps, once I manage, I shift the weight up 1 or 2kg. The weight is of both barbells together unless otherwise something something.
Routine A
- Bankpresses, 9.5 and 11.5kg
- Rows, 9.5 and 11.5kg
- Lounges, 9 and 10kg
- Sidelifts, 1.5 and 2.5kg for each arm
- Sidebends, 5.5 and 6.5kg
- Situps, 5 and 5.5kg
- Curls, 4 and 5kg
- Back 7 and 7.5kg

Routine B
- Overhead, 9.5 and 10.5kg
- Pullovers, 6.5 and 7.5kg
- Rows, as above
- One-handed Deadlift + Overhead: 6.5 and 7.5 for each arm (I have no idea why I can lift more in this exercise)
- Pseudo-Pullups (bent under the bar, feet on the ground; still feels ugly, ugly, ugly)
- Plank with leg lifts
- Side plank, moving the hips up and down, after 8 reps I'm dead
- Curls, as above

As for stretching, I don't know the names of all the exercises, but basically I go through a half a dozen different ways of a) getting my head as close to the floor as possible without bending my knees, b) getting my feet as high above my head as possible and c) putting my feet as far away from each other as possible, plus as close to my head as I can while I'm at it.

I do weights in my garage almost killed myself today...ain't got a spotter and missed one side of the rest as I came down after an incline bench press, my neck was stuck under the bar for a bit. I have to be more careful. I use 70kg for reps of 15 down to 7 as the sets go on when I am doing that particular exercise. Need to work my cardio though its useless.

Yo, all you workout freaks! Let me hear you rooooooaaaaaarrrrrrr!! :D

Sooo, I'm about to do my third weight lifting/stretching session since I've become inpatient again. Add to that another four or five sessions of stretching only and you have quite a disciplined, busy little freak-of-nurture hopping about the insane asylum.

I think I'm proud of myself. And I have to warn you, the picture proof of my side splits is creeping ever closer. Don't look behind you *eerie music* just grab you training shoes and run... run... muahahahaaaa...

Back in the groove... though I threw my neck out today. Found a tai chi/pilates class I can do 4 days a week plus doing 45 minutes minimum on the tread mill ... did it this week, and intend to keep it up. The goal is 4 classes a week plus the tread mill 5.

I'm a heroine!

I did an 80% workout today although I needed ~10 minutes before every single exercise lying on the floor, trying hard to persuade myself to move again. Do one set - collapse - persuasion - another set - collapse - persuasion...

I am a heroine.

Hello fellow work out fiends!!! It's great to see that there are other people out here who love to work out! I do a body weight routine every other day and I do Zumba on the days that I don't do body weights. I do them at 6:30am (when I have classes or work), and the best part is, I can do it all at home for free. I use youtube videos for the zumba and the body weights stuff requires no dumbells and you can make a routine on the internet!

Working out makes me feel powerful. I really like feeling like even if my memories get out of control, even if I cannot help my brother, even if there is nothing I can do about what has happened to me, I can still make sure that my body is strong and healthy. I like to think that if my father ever comes after me again, this time I will be able to get away from him. I would love to say that I could lay him out if he touched me again, but my father is 6'2 and 300pounds, so that is not going to happen. Still, it makes me feel safer to know that I am strong.

I am usually pretty motivated to work out because if I don't then I have trouble sleeping, but right now I am so damn sleepy anyway that I really haven't wanted to all day!
