Shower Cap Thread

I found, via a friend, a really cool website where the lady makes her own shower caps after experiencing the same trouble I have with finding any with long hair... they are never big enough.

I can't promote the site but if anyone is interested you can PC me.

As 5 members from this forum are now ordering shower caps I thought we should have a Shower Cap Club and show off our shower caps (ours are going to be the best)... they are on their way from Western Australia (Perth) and then I will forward on overseas.

Here is what I ended up getting (and yes it is pink)

However I was very tempted by this one but thought it was bit glitzy for the morning... may evening showers only :p

And for nights when I really wanted to dazzle there is

But I thought I would err on the side of practical. Anthony thinks they are from the 60's but I don't really care as long as I can keep my long hair from getting wet.

I'll let the other members show off their choices otherwise, with their permission I will show them off.

Do you wear a shower cap and are you willing to show it off?

I liked this one as it is purple.

Then this one as it has butterflies on it

Next I chose this as it is witchy ;)

But this one stood out a mile for me.

I don't need one having become fed up of styling hair and gone for an elfin cut,but I used to just pop mine up in a hair clamp and then angle the shower so it just ran from the shoulders down..

I'm guessing you have a shower with a fixed head.

What beautiful shower caps, I love them!! and I want at least one. It's okay for me I am a little old lady, so I don't have to worry about the comments. Frankly, I wouldn't care anyway.

:laugh: Lucycat, I was thinking the same thing, lol. I had no idea shower caps still existed ... like nightcaps (to prevent lice) and crinolines (to prevent sitting).
