What Are You Thankful For?

My daughter and her boyfriend taking H and I for lunch yesterday.

I am thankful for finding some home made spicy lentil soup in the freezer this morning.

Real pick me up food, it was delicious, and just what I needed, enough left for tomorrow too.

I couldn't find anything today, until now: the sunshine coming through my office window. And music.

The art gallery...where I was able to spend a few hours before work casually taking in all the amazing works of art over the centuries, and digest as much beauty as I could before having to be bored at work, which wasn't even that boring, as I sat next to a funny guy and we laughed for most of it...so I'm thankful for that.

Thankful to have such supportive people around me, at school and in the friendships I have right now.

I am thankful for my friends who also have children with Down syndrome.

I am thankful for the 2 rainbows I have seen in the last week, for all the fall colours, for all the family and friends that were here yesterday for dinner, for how close my children and hubby and I are and for this thread because it reminds me to think about what I am thankful for.

Recipe please, I adore lentil soup, it is my comfort food. My mum used to make it when I was a child.

I'm thankful that H arrived safely in Plymouth.

I am thankful for having a reliable plumbers number handy.

Central heating boiler has decided to have an iffy fit this morning, so no heating and no hot water.

Thankful also that the sun is shining so it will keep the living room warm until boiler is fixed. At least I could boil the kettle for hot water to wash up.
