What Made You Happy Today?

I am very happy that I went to my daughters house for Christmas. We had a blast. It was very pleasant. We had to leave early because my husband was not feeling good. It was a shame. But I am all cozy now so it is ok.

I am so happy that so many people who were not happy yesterday had reasons to be today. I am happy I was able to give my son gifts that he loved!

Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate it and Happy Holidays to those who do not!

Today was absolutely wonderful, tiring but delightful. My brothers and their families all came to visit for Christmas breakfast (father and I cooked) and my nieces and nephews were so very surprised and happy with the large swing set Santa had brought them.

I got to hold my youngest nephew and play with the older kids. I had no fights with my parents nor did anyone tease me and make me feel poorly. It was truly a wonderful day.

I do not want this to make me seem materialistic but I was very pleased that my mother really went out of her way this year. It's not the gifts, really, it's that she took the time to think about me this year. It meant a lot.

Hope you all are having a wonderful time, I am going to go read one of the books my mother got me. :hug:

My older brother was able to put all the information from my old computer onto the new one, which makes me very happy because I was afraid I'd possibly lost all of that information.

With the next holiday coming up, I feel the happiness from yesterday lowering but I keep reminding myself what it sounded like when my infant nephew was laughing (he's such a happy baby) and that helps me feel a bit better. :happy:

I'm so happy for you!!! Also, it sounds like you got a new computer?! If so, that is wonderful! And I know what you mean. It means a lot that your mom went out of her way and bought you a new computer! Not the money itself, but that it shows she wanted to use a lot of her money on YOU!! :hug:

What made me happy today and every day is how I take care of my birdy! I love taking care of him and giving him a good, happy life! Something is going right in my life, and it's him, Crest! :D He makes me so happy! He loves to sing!:singing::whistling: Also, watching him take a bath and preen his pretty little feathers makes me so happy! :happy: God was so kind in giving us feathers and fur!!!:hilarious:
