Unfortunately, that particular part of the survey is a copyrighted measure, so I'm not allowed to modify it from its original form. I've had some of my own disagreements with some of the copyrighted survey questions, that I wasn't allowed to do anything about.

Hmmm. Thump them on the head. It is presumptuous to think that PTSD suffers need to use condoms or that we are not married.

I appreciate you have already addressed this in part but can any authority, legal or otherwise see the raw data eg survey's and legally demand the respondents names in any way? Even our names on this Forum?

Good questions. I can't speak to what can/can't be demanded from this forum. I'm guessing that information might be listed somewhere in their terms of use?? Regarding my survey, I suppose a legal entity could subpoena the raw data. However, NO identifying information (e.g., name, address, email, etc.) is collected, so I can’t imagine it would do anyone any good to subpoena it. When I was designing the study, I was very concerned about protecting the privacy of participants, given the sensitive subject matter, so when I applied for approval through our university’s ethics board, I made it clear that I would only collect responses anonymously. They gave me the green light to do it that way. If you have any more questions, let me know.
