My dad is still on vacation. The last owl he sent looks angry and mean (because of the "eye brows"), plus he didn't get it finished so I won't post that. But: The other day I went into a crafts shop and found a stamp there, of an owl, that looks like something I would like. Here's the photo:

In that shop I also found a special crafts paper with owls printed on. What about one of those? I mean a black outline of one of the owls?

My dad, in an attempt to give us our perfect owl, makes it a bit too complicated. He's a perfectionist, too. I think it could help to show him very concretely what we'd like.

What do you think about these (again, just an outline, as simple as possible)?

I personally love all of them! I generally like to give artistic freedom to the designer. However you might be right about a direction to aim for.

It is a tough one. I agree that an outline of the presence of the stamp would work. A happy wise one! Whitney

I do, too. Problem here is that everyone has a different understanding of things, so when I said "a wise owl", he drew very big "eye brows" (that look like those of a famous politician here :D). Plus, artistic freedom is great if it's something you get paid for! But I don't want to "cost" him so much time (i.e. money). I know him well, and I know that rather than say "no", he will sit there till midnight just to give us what we want and trying to get all his other stuff done.

I like the blue one above the word glitter. I also spy that there's an owl with glasses on a few owls above that one for CraftyCath. The more I look at them I love them all.

Anthony, this is just my thought. See some people love dove so much (Yes I love doves) and some love owl so much. Can you give user that choice what they would like to represent? Like a choice in their account, owl or doves? Tick mark box. I am thinking about win/win choice.
