I was told by my married partner that my life is lifeless and I should just go a head and kill myself. I have search the web how hard it is to buy a gun after you have been involuntary been hospitalized, It seems as though I can just walk into any gun shop and get one.

But besides that since you have been involuntarily hospitalized in my personal opinion no matter what state you are in you shouldn't be able to purchase a gun. But I know it depends from state to state but I think that most states you have to have a background investigation before you are able to purchase a gun and it should show up that you were involuntarily hospitalized and then should be declined to be able to purchase a gun.

It's not my wish it is the law in the state that I live in and I personally agree with the law. If everybody lived by the law there would be no crime.
