Australians like to get to the point. Glad you love us. Must be hard to get your point across in US without straight talk and a touch of blunt naughty humour.

yeah, I guess is did. It was like a catch up call really, but it helped a little bit. I have to work the next six days :( then a day off then a couple days then a day off..and it's like that until July. I keep telling myself to make it through June because July is vacation month.
 
Today is more of the usual in Aus. But tomorrow I am hoping for a wooden spoon and no pointy stick.

I crack me up too @Matt1055. @fuzzypenguin Maybe if you have the routine in place of having to work already, cos you do, you are going to work. You could try adding one more tiny routine of calling someone everyday. Not the same person, but someone. Just touching base. You have the ability to work so you can do this one more thing.

Give it a try. Even if it is just to talk about food or something small. It's a connection.

Give yourself a pat on the back for being able to hold down a job I have not worked for six years. I had to retire early because of PTSD.
 
Love your username and pic!!! So... Adorable!!!! You obviously have a great personality. So sorry you haven't been feeling supported!! I Hope you have a few important people or animals in your life that can change that for you and if not there are a lot of wonderful people out there that I am sure would love to. Sometimes we have to seek out a support system through neighbors, meet up groups, church, coworkers, hobby clubs. We care here!!!! Hang in there. You are not not not alone!!!!!

I find for myself that speaking can become very very difficult when I am in a deep depression. It's as though I become frozen. This may be what you are experiencing.

Are you on medication for depression? If you cannot speak or it is very very difficult, you may find some relief from getting in the shower and opening your mouth really wide and doing a silent scream. Like a gurgle or roar or any quiet noise you can make, but some noise and vibration in your throat to open it up.

It sounds weird but when I do this until I burp or almost throw up, the blockage lifts and I feel better instantly.

I personally believe it is a buildup of adrenaline = fight or flight. It has to be burned up. Muscle movement, or any kind of scream/noise release burns up adrenaline.

Give it a go and let us know. If you dont want to do it in the shower, do it into a pillow, but you have to do at least 5 or 6 screams.
