My pigeon's learning to eat orderly. I don't know who of us is more surprised by it, I think me.

I looked at my partners venus fly trap and noticed a little hover fly had his head stuck in between the ' jaws'........the little one was struggling to get his head free. I used tweezers to open the fly trap and the little one got free and jumped onto my hand. He sat there for a minute wiping down his head with his front legs.....he was so cute..a beautiful little thing close up. Once he'd sorted himself out he flew off to get on with the rest of his day. Never thought I'd see cuteness in a hover fly!

At work yesterday a toddler loudly asking his mum what 'that lady's doing on the ladder' (me). His mum telling him I'm putting stock out to sell, which I don't think he got, so he comes right up to me and asks: "What you doin'?" All confidence and curiosity, it was very cute.

At church today, there was a little girl staying really close to her daddy and wherever he want she was right there by his side, almost leaning against him. She had on her Sunday Best Cloths and was dressed so sweetly and cutely. She's about 4 I think. She's obviously a daddy's girl!
