I read this article...and I thought...oh yes, my guy needs to read this.
Guys don't really get that we are afraid of them? That they have to prove to be not a threat before anything?
Or that we don't want to hurt their feelings when turning them down?
Keep in mind, I go for women too...and yeah, the fear is just not there with other women. I always thought that was down to my abuse...but maybe not.
Apparently untraumatized women find men scary too.
I told Mr Crazypants that he was way stronger than me, that I was aware he could kill me, and had been afraid he might do so?
He was stunned and horrified...I was surprised he was not aware of my fear.
