Have you guys heard about this movement? I'm concerned about it and the destruction of what feminis...

Would you define Meninist for us(not all readers know what you mean) and give us some context for the Movement as it relates to your comments, please?

@Cashew I will probably have a response later but too lazy to write or do quotes even. One thing is that I believe that all of these trigger warnings and safe space nonsense has just made PTSD a total joke. That conversation when we return :)

Yeah it was starting as a parody & a joke and some guys took it super serious.

@Ed Norton, that's quite well and take your time man.

It's okay to agree to disagree, as well. I tend to see trigger warnings & specific spaces for some communities of people as a way for people to protect each other, and protect themselves in times they're too vulnerable, and it can help systematizing and categorizing by types of trauma where that can help people sort themselves. (Just explaining perspective, not arguing it as a point. :) )

I'm really lucky I live in a town where there is no need to care at all about politics, it's rarely ever had any effect on this place :P
We haven't extreme feminist, or much stuff to worry about like that. I'm a bit confused spectating all thats going on around the world... Why do people let it happen?

@Saelben, one major trend with relative stability is that crises must be created to resolve the constant boredom. I grew up around major instability lots of real danger. Only till I got to college did I realize that I had so many problems :rolleyes:

I see the wierd stuff happening mainly as an USA thing, like, here we are busy enough getting rid of many many hectares of mines, and there is quite a lot of equality.

Parts of Europe are pretty bad too here and there there was a push to get rid of many urinals because...because...I don't know.

Getting rid of urinals? Why would anyone get rid of urinals, those cost money, stripping them away is waste... Here we have all kinds of toilets, toilet toilets, the ones you can sit on, then there are crouching toilets, the wierdish ones that we mostly picked up from italy, and urinals... Why would anyone want to get rid of urinals.

I dunno that all people living with heckuvalot existential worries and being too busy thinking of anything else, is really the same as 'equality'. I mean, not having a time to consider something basically erases that phenomenon from possible consideration.

I haven't been noticing opression of women happening much, it's quite peaceful here, and the town's been fine, I mean, relatively... We are poor-ish, generally, but there is still a lot of emphathic people around, and a lot of people who do take time to think of ethical stuff, like, we aren't basic necessities poor, recently we've even been getting 10 mbps internet in some parts :O Like, a lot of advances happened, though a whole load of fails also, but yea, it's not post apocalyptic no time to worry bout anything but necessities...

And nope, I never saw any poop in an urinal IRL

In a way it does. When I was in the 'Thunderdome' where, AIDS, crack, heroin, shootings, gangs, riots, deaths, were rampant. When I visited family in the South Bronx and 90% of the buildings there were destroyed by arson. I was pretty blind to 'microaggresions'
