It makes me sad to know that there are misinformed and judgmental articles out there that say to not get involved with a PTSD sufferer. With no cure, this in effect recommends that PTSD sufferers stay single FOR LIFE. I don't know about anyone else, but the worst BY FAR is the loneliness and lack of connection with others and an article recommending this for life is no less than cruel.

There is a lot of advice and support to be found here :) I hope that this amazing community helps you as much as it helped me, reading all the similar stories, and learning a lot along the way. @Bfab as a supporter myself, I can't begin to tell you how much this site has given me, in terms of hope and friendships. Over time you'll find that you'll be able to conect with people that are both supporters and sufferers. That's what's so cool about this site. Everyone is here for you when you need help.

Take care and be strong. This is not an easy thing you are getting invoved in. But it can be a beutiful thing just the same.
