@joeylittle @Justmehere Thank you! I think that you are right about the panic of the side effects. There was a point I wanted to leave work to look at the beautiful world. All of a sudden, I hated a job that I normally love because the euphoria made it seem so ordinary. That made me panic because I couldn’t understand what had just happened to me. Then the huge wave of sick and where I was at work also caused a huge panic.
My therapist thought that maybe I got too high a dose because I am really sensitive to meds. (For example... I have to take a 1/4 of a normal person’s numbing dose and I can’t handle epinephrine at all. With out that change, I’m numb for over 8 hours.)
We were thinking we could go much lower even if it involved removing beads from the lowest available. But there was no suggestion of that. I told my p-doc that I have no plans to try it again unless I’m on a holiday. I can’t miss work for drug trials. I’m not a salary paid employee. When I don’t work, I don’t get paid.
I picked up the buspar, but may wait until the long weekend to try it. At least that one is cheap for someone that can’t afford insurance.
