A woman who had been through a very hard life once told me that we are all like 20-dollar bills. Some of us have been battered and torn and put through the washer and wringer and dryer more than once. Some of us are dirty and worn around the edges, and may feel that we are somehow less than other people, but we have to remember that we are still twenty dollar bills. We still have as much value as anyone else.
