5 Things I'm Thinking Today

  • Post starter Post starter Deleted member 29920

  • Wishing I could be in the pasture with @intothelight to dig up the burdock roots and use them for my daily herbal infusions...pure gold right there, in my world.
  • Thinking how beneficial it could be if we were taught to 'work-in' to build up inner strength as much as we're taught we need to 'work-out' for the physical strength.
  • Glad to feel some more summer temperatures as I mourn the end of my favorite and healthiest feeling season.
  • This is the year I'm going to learn to make a black walnut hull tincture, as the trees are hanging heavy with them.
  • Enemas...yet another thing I never saw myself ever doing in this existence, as I always thought it was a type of emergency medical procedure only done if your bowels were severely impacted....but it's simply hydration and hygiene from the other end, when done correctly, and used to be a regular part of many peoples routines back in the day...old school methods remain my favorite for many scenarios in this game called life...no need to keep reinventing every single wheel.

1. So two days ago didn't work.
2. At least that other obligation out of the question.
3. 'It's okay... the smallest good thing?' ... Coffee, still, bro. Still the f*cking coffee, people can be dropping left & right and lying & killing trust but it doesn't matter, coffee. Coffee. Camels. And more coffee.
4. Still an option. Who cares it's request-breaking.
5. Sleeping it out.
(One, two, three.)

1. @Ronin . Here, coffee and luckies. My word is ok if I have these two.
2. My goals are lovely, reality is quite different. Sad and lonely.
3. Spaced out. Wandering in a city full of people. Going home. So hot.
4. Conclusion: each crisis brings me «back» and I have to start allll over again. It sucks.
5.- I have my drawing, remember, it helps you, darling Chiqui.

Amazing how the bad guys can make themselves look like good guys.
Appreciate the moderators' patience on explaining how stuff works here when I was highly disregulated.
I need to see a movie. A couple gave me ten passes to Regal so I can go anytime. Just nothing I'm interested in.
Pineapple sandwich for lunch in a few minutes! Yum. On sunflower bread.
Peri ate and immediately hid but she ate. Get my joy where I can :)

@Tornadic Thoughts What do you do with the roots?

Didn't have time to pick out classes yesterday so that is priority for today.
Need to stay focused on what is "right" and not what is "wrong".
Trying a north African dish tonight with lots of Turmeric. Fascinating spice as there is a group using this in cancer treatment and clinical trials in a handful of countries.
Hard quote today as there are so many variables so pricing needs to be defensive or offer it on an time and material basis. The later probably makes the most sense.
Poison ivy is spreading a bit, but no too bad. I am very much a "red neck" on one side.

Thanks for the laugh this morning. I think that you show so much grace in your suffering. FYI: you are not a redneck but the laughing at yourself is good for the soul. Here is to your healing.

On the upswing again. of this crazy rollercoaster ride I am on. Hey I really want to get off of it now.:p

I think today will be a very good day. Looking forwards to the gifts of this new day.:playful:

It feels so good to heal and to recover. these are the moments I live for.

What am I going to do next?:whistling:

So far, @intothelight , I've only used it as part of my steeped herbal infusion drinks that I drink each morning and in between meals, but the possibilities are endless with the whole plant, it seems, according to the link I shared below.

I've not found a spot to dig my own, yet, but have a master herbalist friend who stocks it and keeps me supplied.

Apparently the roots can get at least 2-3 feet long, so I imagine it would be quite a chore to dig 'em up.

I'll check on my next trip to the international food market to see if they sell them and for how much. Can't wait to taste one cooked.
