I guess the body remembers, and remembers, and remembers, because I forgot- anniversaries.

Didn't help I had a bad fall sunday.

I did not speak up or act 40+ years ago and it ended in death. But I remembered for the 1st time I acted/ reacted about 20 years ago and prevented someone else's.
Only bought them about 2 months but I did.

Sp very sorry. :( Sending much supoort to you. And well done for the good you did.

1. There were sirens for 5 mins but it felt like way longer and I could've swore someone was out to get me.

2. I'm isolating too much and going to go insane if I don't go out tomorrow.

3. I may have gone too far in a few places oopsies ...

4. Everything looks so damn bright WTF.

5. Nothing makes sense anymore.

1. I finally went out after a few days and I guess I'm cured now

2. I got coke zero and something tells me I'm going to drink all 1.25L in one day.

3. I got new socks yayyy 🧦 Been eyeing them for months on end but it's getting too cold so stopped ruminanting.

4. Why don't I think before typing, my mind is kinda scattered.

5. Something still feels wrong but I'll let Hell catch up with me.

1. Just seen something I shouldn't have and don't want to think about it

2. Why don't I dissociate properly when I actually need to ¿

3. It's a bit cold and I'm wearing enough just so my brain is still somewhat functional but I still know that it's cold

4. Had too much artificial sweeteners but it seems to be unavoidable

5. I have too much freedom and that leads to making some ~questionable~ choices.

If you’re naming a part of the brain as responsible for XYZ??? You. Are. Full. Of. Shite.

Bleeding edge neurologists don’t know WTF parts of the brain “do”.

You say “the amygdala” does XYZ? You were current… 20 f*cking years ago, on 50yo data. And, clearly, not in any kind of focused study -20 years ago- because even then? We KNEW that was all bullshit. That memory is stored across diffuse regions of not only the brain itself, but the ENTIRE CNS. Which includes nerves in your darn finger tips. But, sure! It’s 2025. Quote old news in 1985 like it’s “new”. FFS. And that’s “just” memory.

NO SINGLE PART OF THE BRAIN IS RESPONSIBLE FOR -ANY- SINGLE THING.

News as of… 1995?

Ffs.

Drives me freaking crazy.

It’s like time travelers calling an iPod a jukebox. Um. No. Not at ALL. OLD FREAKING DATA. decades old tech, that music stored in a device is a “jukebox”. (And worse, assuming rpthat because a jukebox exists, that records, tapes, and digital music… doesn’t.). It’s. Just. WRONG. And it’s oooooooooold wrong. Which is worse. Like lit up houses are all from gas, or knob & tube electric… which hasn’t even been LEGAL for over 50 years.

Sure. That’s “new”. Something that was outlawed 50 years ago, in favor of a better option over a century old. That’s… “new”. No. No it fawking isn’t.

Furious. Insane. Disgusted. Fawk OFF… telling me any single part of the brain is responsible for any single,w other thing.

At BEST? Parts of the brain act like librarians… responsible for keying up relevant info.

As if a librarian carried 100s of thousands, millions, billions, of books home. Each night. They don’t. Neither does the brain. Not even shoved into a drive in their pocket.

The TREMENDOUS amount of info? Is diffuse. Across the ENTIRE brain, and CNS / ANS. Interacting in ways we have yet to unsderstand, much less define.

But. Sure??? Tell me it’s XYZ part of my brain?

Sure. It’s hungry like a wolf.

1985 STRONG.
