I have a History project that is hanging over me, it's a 3000 word essay, plus 2000 words preparation work. So far, I've not got very far. My teacher has made life difficult and I find him unapproachable. He has added to my anxiety to the point where I'm avoiding him at college, because I don't want to talk to him. He just stresses me out.
Getting the sources to quote from has been difficult, but after my last draft, I feel as if I've been left with nowhere to go with it. I'd drop the class but I need to pass it to get into university and, after getting an overall A grade in the subject so far, I don't want to give up on it now.
I cannot understand why I am finding this particular task so hard. It's not as bad as it seems, yet I simply cannot get my head around it to write it properly. I just find myself having huge difficulty concentrating, feeling strangely threatened and panicky by it.
Any tips or ideas? I'm trying to argue the historical significance of the MP Jack Ashley in the Thalidomide scandal in the UK.
