A Question For The Ladies Of The Forum

There is only one thing I really want to say out loud during 'that time of the month' and that is :

'I love you, HOWEVER, I feel it may be in your best interests to evacuate the premises... I'm armed with hormones and I'm very dangerous'

I'm sure I have an ex who can testify to that.

The anxiety goes through the roof, and at 52 it's a Bit Much. Am adding this to the LIST of Things-To-Discuss-With-God at the end of all this sometime.

I've found natural diuretics( there are several foods which are mild ones, you can Google them) for a few days previously to be pretty helpful. Also have found that the closer I am to whatever weight my body finds natural to maintain, the less the symptoms are over this time.

I have noticed a connection too, with PTSD symptoms and PMT. The problem is that I have anovulatory infertility. This means that I do get periods, but haphazardly. My hormones have a starting point of being imbalanced. It is what I have always lived with. Now I just don't know if it is PMT until the period comes, or if I am just going crazy again. It is hard to take, but each time I get a period it is now a bit of a relief that it was the cause of my increased symptoms.

I have tried hormones meds in the past but they had horrid side effects and I never found one that suited me.
