Seeking attention is not always 100% bad. Sometimes attention seeking is very bad, but in your case, I don't think it was at all.
You were raped. That was a problem that needed attention. You needed attention. You needed help. You cried out for it. You have nothing to be ashamed of for what you did. It was a reasonable response to what you have been through. The people who did wrong are the rapist and the teacher who didn't believe you. Not you. What you did was a brave way to reach out for help and to try and make sense of what had happened.
I have struggled with feeling like something I did about being sexually assaulted as being attention seeking. My therapist told me what I am telling you.
