I've looked at other's posts and I am glad to hear others sleep a lot too! I've been sleeping a lot lately...even went in to do a sleep study. ::rolls eyes:: I slept there over night then did a multiple sleep latentcy test...their findings were this: You have excessive daytime sleepiness. Really? No sh*t sherlock that was my complaint when I came in. Anyways...
I have a theory about why I'm sleeping so much. I've heard that new borns sleep so much because their neural pathways in their brains are being created. I feel like I'm learning a new way of thinking...perhaps people with PTSD sleep a lot because we are re-writing our neural pathways in our brains. Learning how to cope and deal with things in a correct way...perhaps thats why we sleep so much. Perhaps sleeping is healing.
Another sleep question...when I sleep I dream SO vividly. The sights, sounds, smells are so very real. And I think I feel more in my sleep than I do while awake. Does anyone else dream so vividly?
