PTSD Forum launched on the 06th Sep 2005 with the aim to provide basic information on PTSD, but more importantly, vetted references to quality information that will help you directly, and not send you round in circles, and; the most important facet off this forum, is for those who suffer PTSD, support PTSD or family of affected PTSD sufferers to talk, maybe socialise offline, provide a means of communication to others affected, relax, and importantly, just ask for help if in doubt.
The forum is not here to provide rocket science or neo-geometrical measurements of time and space movement… bugger all that crap, just get down to the nitty gritty, talk about the issues, learn from each other, and at the end of the day, hopefully lead a more rewarding and stress free life.
The biggest thing about PTSD is honesty. If you can’t be honest, then your wasteing your time. Denial is a large part of those affected by traumatic events, and once you come to terms that there are others just like you, everything does get better… trust me on that one. PTSD affects a wide range of people, from military, police, emergency services, doctors, nurses, victims of crime, severe accidents and more. Don’t be afraid, as your not alone… really, your not.
