It does get better each day, as the shock wears off. Still painful, but maybe I needed something like this to happen to get me to start seeing a therapist.Good post topic and welcome.

I will give I my best opinion on it. #1 don't be scared of the world out there as in don't let PTSD jade you. Its easy to allow PTSD to define you and become all you encompass your entire life in. #2 DONT LET PTSD DEFINE YOU! Don't forget you are a valuable person. An individual that has alot to offer the world. #3 Take care of YOU first. If you're not working on you and taking care of you then it's much easier for things that happen in life like roadbumbs of other smaller type traumas or problems to manifest into a huge problem. Before you know it you're in an episode. You have to make sure working on you means keeping stressors under control as much as humanly possible while realizing life happens. Things that are unfavorable will happen and continue to happen for your entire life. Its how you deal with them or what you choose to do with them that matters. You unfortunately cant safe off your life for the current or future. Focus on being in the moment and being mindful of your actions and body language and response to things. You can do anything you put your mind to. I promise that! There's nothing that you can add to PTSD that will "push it over the edge". Your mind itself pushes things farther than need most times. Your mind is a powerful thing. It will run away with itself if you let it. Be atrong. Take life in one day at a time. Be in each moment. Let the small stuff roll off and remember you're a warrior. You can make it past and thru anything you set your mind to!Hello Everyone!
