An earth shaking event occurred in therapy one day when my T said: they lied to you. 4 simple words. First reaction was adults don't lie. No, they wouldn't do that. He simply shook his head yes. Repeated...they lied to you.

As a kid, I didn't know adults lied. So if they were saying it it must be true. Logically then I was at fault. Carried their numerous lies farther into adulthood then I care to admit.

You are fine. They lied to you.

Really glad you've got he @katz :)Have just been to see and old friend who I hadn't seen for nearly 2 years. So glad, shall see her more often again now.
