Are you working with a legal advocate or attorney or victim advocate of some type that could contact them and hold their feet to the fire?

Very very few legal matters can be sped up. The legal system very very slow in most countries or it's too fast for he wrong reasons and in ways that don't help. Is this legal matter related to probation or parole and the therapists would be called to testify as to why the probation or parole status should end earlier than planned?

If the therapists could be potential witnesses and this legal matter had any relation to any criminal proceedings drop everything and work through a public defender or you will risk some unexpected complications. If it's a civil matter, the therapists are still likely to shut down all the more because generally therapists get really nervous about testifying unless they are forensic/expert witnesses.

It sounds like they committed patient abandonment way back when, and can't speak to the matter now. The judge would want current treating providers anyhow. I strongly suggest finding an understanding primary care doc that can write the letter or find someone who can and to work with legal counsel on this complex issue where you need letters from former crap therapists who are going to testify in court.
