An Annoucement From Me & Some Questions Re: Withdrawals

Hi Rachel, I never could tolerate Effexor. (I only took it for two days) However, I went off of Prozac and Celexa and Wellbutrin cold turkey. I'm not sure if there is a difference, but the side effects were barely noticeable.

Good Luck!

Hey Nicolette,

A bit of a rocky road. Some moments are really good, some are pretty bad - mostly, I get dizzy a lot and sometimes just feel all around awful like I have the flu. BUT, it's getting better - each day. I'm trying to balance things out and keep a positive attitude.

Thanks for asking, it means a lot.

Best,
Rachel

Rachel,

I just wanted to say that I hope you feel better soon.

Also, I never got a chance to thank and congratulate you on your position as a moderator. I am sure you are the perfect person for the position. So, thanx and congratulations!

Take care of yourself, Morgan

Decided to give you time to adjust to being off your meds before bothering you. I hope this is going well for you. Are you feeling OK and the mental meanies--are they behaving?

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you, it means a lot. It's really strange, these feelings - I wish the dizziness would go away. It's like a large sphere is floating around in my head and when it hits the sides of my skull, I feel like I'm going to fall over. blargh.

Hi Nicolette,

argh! Frustrating. I'm down to 1/4 of my originally prescribed dosing amount and it's like I can't come down anymore! The withdrawal effects are really hard for me. The dizziness, the upset stomach, the overall bodily discomfort - I know I sound like such a whiner, but this is just not fun and I really thought I would be over the whole withdrawal process by now and I"m not. Also, the whole "brain floaty" thing is starting to scare me. The zaps are gone, (which were VERY scary) and now I get the "brain float", which is kind of hard to explain except that I really can't move my head too much or else I become sick.

not happy.
Rachel
(thanks for checking on me)

Damn Rachel... it sounds like an awful withdrawl. I hope that it gets better for you soon.

Thinking of you,
tude
