Just looking for a little advice...my boyfriend is isolating from me ...it been close to 4 months ..we do text everyday sometimes it just good morning sometimes more...In the beginning it was usually just good morning. .but as time has gone by its been more..I always let him be the one to make the first move if it's more then the morning text...He has never said it was over ..and when I said I would wait for him he never said don't wait ...He is very busy building a house right now ..but I'm starting to wonder if I'm ever going to see him again..I just don't know what to think and I'm scared to ask him that question. ..is going on 4 months seem a long time to you. ..we went on vacation to Florida I flew he drove and stayed a month longer then me and he brought back suitcase with my things and still has it..I haven't brought it up cause I don't need anything that is in it...but he has the key to my apartment and knows when I work. .I just thought if he wanted it over without seeing me or any conflict he could have brought it over while I was at work and put the key under the mat...but he hasn't..so confused I just don't know what to think..I read what you wrote so I don't want to push things..should I just keep rolling like it is and Keep waiting. .or should I ask if I am going to see him again. Thanks for any advice or insight you can give me.

I hear the sorrow in your voice. I wish I could give you a big hug. My wife doesn't isolate any more and when she did it was for a couple days at most.
I admire your support for his needs but I think that it's time to let him know that you have needs to.
I hope that doesn't sound too harsh. I know that sometimes isolateters can forget that we have needs to. And I'm sure if you let him know that you really want to be with him through this and the house building he'll slowly come around.
