Analyse That!...(dreams That Are Just Plain Wacky)

@theAlbatross - The fact that you were skiing in your dream suggests that you are putting yourself to the test, but the fact that you're skiing backwards might mean that you're not challenging yourself or regressing in some way, and the chaos that ensued symbolizes the mental chaos that happens when you're not making the same progress as others.

But that's just my pyschobabble :)

I have to say, visually it was hilarious... but my feelings and thoughts were utterly confused... defying gravity definitely left an impression on me.

For the record I flunked ink blots too... both black/white and the color ones. Totally blocked in that area but might do a bit better now (about 5 years ago).

Yup... ironically I was in a joint session and flunking... my shrink was perturbed. My mister sat next to me looking incredulous... I finally said, Okay so what do you see? To my surprise he rolled through no problem. I understood at that point that I was blocked so far as giving impressions. To me it represented a risk with consequences. I expect though I could guess a bit now. Off topic... sorry.

@The Albatross I think I lost my evaluator when I said "Caterpillars attacking Paris." to one of them. He just started doing the mouth twitch thing. So then I got all cute and said, if he thought it was funny, clearly he could see the bulldozers & shakspearean hero as well. Which made him not believe a word that came out of my mouth for the rest of the exam. Wait. Which kind of caterpillars? Alice in Wonderland or US Steel? Wait, foxy as in sexy or foxy as in the animal? I was in a mood.

My son, though, has almost no 2D spatial reasoning (off the charts in 3D, which is backwards). It's part of what makes him dysgraphic. He sees, and thinks, of everything in 3D. Including numbers which is kind of a trip. I never saw any beauty in numbers until I met this kid. But writing and drawing is virtually impossible for him. He can type, and use design tools in game design because it's a 3D field, but his handwriting meant that it took 2-3 hours for him to be able to write a sentence by hand. Meanwhile he can have typed 1500 words and edited them, by then. Same thing with ink blots. 2D, so his mind doesn't grok them. They're spilled ink. And? Your point? Dude. Why am I looking at spilled ink??? This is beyond stupid.

My favorite wacky "Where the heck did that come from dream?"-
was hanging out with Vin Diesel.

*I was really flustered and embarrassed over that one!

(Ahem...please, no one needs to interpret that one for me.):O_o::laugh::clown:

My head's on a bit of a roll with wacky at the moment..... Last night I was in my garden planting teaspoon handles and cooked beans. I was a bit worried that they might not grow so well where I planted them because they might not get enough sun.........because obviously with plenty of sun, spoons and cooked beans grow just fine!:D

Digger,
Okay, here we go! The fact that you were gardening represents a hope for the future, and the fact that you were planting spoons and beans means you are hoping for good relationships, fertility and connection to your roots in the future. The worries about the things you planted not getting enough sun represents the fact that you fear not having enough piece of mind and insight in aforsaid relationships, fertility, and connections to your roots. You know what your future needs to be fruitful but you're worried you won't get enough of it or be able to do it right.

Or it could mean you are a really crap gardener ;)

Last night I dreamed that I was a mermaid who was swimming in the sea and it was my home, and I swam for many eternities, until suddenly I had a child with me (For some reason she had blue hair), and I had to leave her in the sea while I went on land and I promised her I'd be back soon, but then I became a man and I was locked up in the laboratory with a hundred other men, and we all had to stand in a small box drawn on the floor, like the size of a toilet stall, and we had to keep moving our feet and if we stopped we'd be punished. I escaped eventually and I flew through dark streets and back to the ocean, back to the child. Analyze that!
